U-17 Boys Football Competition off to a grand start in Baramulla

The U-17 Boys Football Competition has begun in Baramulla district. 45 teams from different zones of the district are participating in this tournament. The matches will run till 29 July 2025 at Showkat Ali Stadium, Khawaja Bagh, Baramulla.

Organization and inauguration of the tournament

Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Altaf Hussain Musavi, formally inaugurated the tournament. The principal of Government Degree College (Boys), Baramulla, also encouraged the young players.

Teams and players

This competition has been organized for under-14 and under-17 boys football as well as under-17 volleyball. Young players from all zones are playing with enthusiasm to represent their area.

The tournament is being organized under the leadership of District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO) Baramulla. The organizers have tried their best to maintain fair play and a good atmosphere.
