Nottingham, England – Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz is coming back to play in the Premier League. It is reported that he will leave Juventus and now join Nottingham Forest.
Nottingham Forest is playing in the Europa League for the first time in 30 years this season, and for this reason coach Nuno Espirito Santo is constantly strengthening the team. Luiz’s arrival will further strengthen his midfield.
Luiz had a difficult time at Juventus. He played 27 matches for the club, but could not score any goals or assists and got a place in the starting eleven only 6 times. Even though he still had 4 years left on his contract and was receiving a salary of £150,000 a week, he wanted to return to England and get his career back on track.
Nottingham Forest have signed him on a loan deal + obligation to buy later. In this way, Juventus will also get back some part of the £42 million paid earlier.
