The 2018 Liberia Football Association presidential election has come to an end with LISCR FC’s president, Mustapha Raji becoming the new president of the football house. The LISCR FC boss won the seat on white ballot after the withdrawal the association’s former vice president, Musa Shannon.
Mustapha Raji will lead the Liberia Football Association for the next four years when his tenure will be over. The other elected officials were strongly warned by Raji who said his administration has come to work and not to make money. He quickly asked elected officials to send in their resignations if they come to the LFA with the purpose of making money.
Meanwhile, he waved his honorarium for the years he will serve as president. Mr. Raji made the announcement immediately after being elected as the president of the association.
LISCR FC was founded on August 24, 1995 as Young Barcelona Football Club by President Mustapha Raji who self-sponsored securing the LISCR sponsorship which has lasted more than 20 years.
